Instead of glue, the frames are built using a traditional knotting method — the result is lightweight, strong, and full of detail. They’re ideal for indoor use or covered outdoor areas, like verandas or shaded terraces. And since they’re already fumigated and pre-levelled, they’re ready to use straight out of the box.

We get this question a lot. So here’s the deal: yes, this set works outside — as long as it’s undercover. We offer an optional clear sealant that helps it handle outdoor air and a bit of humidity, but it’s not meant to live in the rain or sit somewhere damp. Keep it on a covered patio, stoep, or shaded spot, and it’ll serve you well for years.
